Green & Black’s must be the UK’s most loved chocolate brand with a fiercely loyal consumer base and an endless list of celeb followers. A retained client for over 10 years our challenge is to come up with great PR ideas time and time again. Over the years we’ve taken journalists out to Belize (resulting in eight pages and the front cover of OFM), created a £30,000 advent calendar for Christmas which was sold in Harrods, announced Green & Black’s 60% reduced Easter egg packaging to the national environmental correspondents and launched Creamy Milk to go head to head with Cadbury Dairy Milk and Galaxy. Alongside the UK work, Phipps also has a global consultancy role supporting all other agencies in international markets. As the lead PR agency we help to set the strategy and also roll out the implementation of global ethical plans such as the recent announcement to take the whole of the Green & Black’s range Fairtrade. We liaise with all agencies on a monthly basis and share best practice and ways of working.
