Tapas Fantasticas
It’s fair to say this summer has been something of a washout, with everything from the Thames Jubilee pageant to the UK Grand Prix falling victim to the deluge. But while Rioja Tapas Fantasticas didn’t escape the downpours, it takes more than a bit of drizzle to take the sunshine out of this popular Spanish festival.
Nearly 12,500 donned their raincoats and headed out to Potters Fields Park for the fifth edition of our multi-award-winning Rioja Tapas Fantasticas event.
We were joined by 35 Rioja wineries showcasing a range of traditional and modern wines, along with pop-ups of some of London’s top tapas bars including Capote y Toros, Ibérica, José, and Copita, who cooked up a storm, with dishes including pork belly with fennel and pickled cockles, ibérico albóndigas, and arroz negro.
