The Winery - Riesling tasting

David Motion is a man on a mission to enthuse the Maida Vale neighbourhood about German Rieslings, and he regularly holds informal and fun tastings at The Winery allowing visitors to sample wines and learn more about different grape varieties. With 30% of stock owing to German wines, The Winery is a great place to sample wines from across Germany.  So when we heard about the Riesling tasting, we knew it was one not to be missed!

With the 31 Days of German Riesling campaign in full swing, we enjoyed the sparkling Cuvee Vaux 2009 as well as three dry Rieslings from producers Knebel (Mosel), Asbach-Krethschmar (Rheingau) and Flick (Rheingau). David and I then decided to declare our love for Riesling through these fetching tattoos! Go Riesling go!
