Golfing fun with Tee-acher’s whisky
Spending a sunny Saturday on a golf course is a classic pastime for gentlemen of a certain age, as is enjoying a wee dram, so when Teacher’s whisky decided to bring 20 golfers together with distillery manager Alistair Longwell it was guaranteed to go well.
Hosted at Blue Mountain in Berkshire, Teacher’s golf and whisky master class was informal, but educational, with a guided tasting through the whisky-making process presented by Alistair Longwell to show just how Teacher’s is crafted.
Golf followed the tasting, with all of our attendees heading out to play a full 18 holes. We took to the buggy and drove out across the fairways to meet them at the 9th hole with a dram of Teacher’s and encouraging words. After an enjoyable afternoon of golf, everyone strolled back to the bar for a drink – Teacher’s, of course!
