Reuben Milne

Creativity off the scale
Laid back
Sense talks a surprising amount of it
Says I know it sounds mad but what if...
Heading up Phipps creative output Reuben has such a blue chip creative background that sometimes even we can’t quite believe it. One of the leading lights in the PR world he was a director at Joe Public Relations where he was responsible for the spirit and output of an agency that became synonymous with creative campaigns and a fresh approach to PR. He says that his background straddles the issues-driven world of b2b, the product-based approach of technology and the brand-led mayhem that is consumer PR. We say that he knows how to bring something different to the way you think about what you do. And that’s what we and our clients love about him.

Mark Palmer

Undisputed marketing guru
Awards marketing director of the year and Boy Scout cookery badge
Believes PR holds the key to it all (and good packaging helps too)
Loves retail (ok then shopping)
As ex global brand director for Green & Black’s and now a freelance marketing director, Mark is one of our greatest assets. He is someone who always sees the big picture, has a truly global perspective and knows how to translate a core thought into a great campaignable idea. He says, I’ve always been a firm believer in the power of the right kind of PR. It’s such a key component of any marketing mix. We say, we’ve worked with Mark for eight amazing years and what we love about him most is that he constantly challenges us and helps to get us one step nearer our end goal. He just makes us and our campaigns work harder.

Nick Beart

Hobbies turnarounds (he’s an accountant)
Witty discourse 1,001 accountancy jokes
Brands from Covent Garden Soup to Boden to Green & Black’s
Knows everyone and nearly everything
Nick is our food industry expert, an accountant by training, if not inclination, he’s been responsible for the turnaround, development and sale of a series of businesses, mainly in the food industry, including New Covent Garden Soup Co, Boden and Green & Black’s. He is known for his love of lunch, politics, history and for not suffering fools. He says that behind every success there is great accountant and behind every failure there is a poor salesman. We love having Nick around because he really does seem to know everyone in the food industry and because he also knows ‘nearly’ everything.
